Is it possible to add an updated version of PHP?

Yes. MAMP PRO includes a large number of PHP versions by default, and additional versions can be installed at any time. In Settings › Languages › PHP, click the plus button to open a list of available PHP versions. Click Install next to the desired version to add it to your development environment. MAMP PRO must be restarted after installation.
