Create a new host
To create a new host press the “+” button at the bottom left corner of the Hosts table.
The first time you click on the “+” button, you will see a message telling you that the SSL environment must be set up first. Confirm this dialog box by clicking the “OK” button.
Afterwards you may have to enter the password of your macOS account.
MAMP PRO offers you several types of hosts, which you can create. For the sake of clarity we have divided these into two categories: Basic & Advanced
An “Empty” host has a simple dummy page pre-installed.
A “WordPress” host has a WordPresspre-installed, including its database.
A “Custom” host allows you to have a database and/or files added to a new host.
A “Blueprint” host is a clone of a host in the “Blueprint” group.
Automatically import the data from the cloud after the host is created.
Use this host type to automatically import a remote site.
This type creates a host to be used as a source/destination in a migration.
