  • Name
Here you give the element a name. This name is only used within appdoo. For example, you can quickly see in the outline where each Animation is located. You can also edit the name by double-clicking on the Animation in the outline. We recommend that you assign unique names when working with elements like Actions Sets, Conditional Actions, Timer and Sensors.

  • Slider & Play Button
With the help of the slider and the play button you can view the animation in appdoo and check if your settings deliver the desired result.

  • Object
Here you select the element you want to animate. The visible elements (in the outline in the “View” folder) of your screen are available.

Options

  • Duration
Here you specify how many seconds the animation should last. You can enter the value in steps of 0.1 seconds.

  • Timing
Here you can select the animation curve to be used for the animation. You can choose between the following options:

    • Ease In and Out
An ease-in ease-out curve causes the animation to begin slowly, accelerate through the middle of its duration, and then slow again before completing. This is the default curve for most animations.

    • Ease In
An ease-in curve causes the animation to begin slowly, and then speed up as it progresses.

    • Ease Out
An ease-out curve causes the animation to begin quickly, and then slow down as it completes.

    • Linear
A linear animation curve causes an animation to occur evenly over its duration.

  • Play Immediately
Check this box to start the animation immediately when the screen is displayed.

  • Reverse playback
Check this box to run the animation in reverse direction.

  • Repeat
Check this box to play the animation with a certain number of repetitions. If you enter the value 0 here, the animation will be repeated forever.

    • Repeat backwards
Check this box to run the animation in the reverse direction at the end.
  • Remain in Final State
Check this box to leave the element in the end position at the end of the animation. If this check box is not checked, the element will return to its original state after the animation.
